In the United States, there are currently two main types of boarding schools: the private boarding schools and the public schools. Private boarding schools are generally much smaller than public schools; generally the size of the class is quite small, with about thirteen to twenty students. The difference in student populations occurs because students in private schools are allowed to choose their own schedules. A student may have a very rigid schedule that does not allow him/her to attend a public school on a certain day or time. A student who attends a private school can then choose to attend a public school on that day or time at a cost of some sort. A student who attends a public school in the United States also may have a more flexible schedule, as public schools are under a lot more financial pressure than private boarding schools. I love that you mentioned that the size of the class is much smaller, around 15 students. My daughter is having a real hard time with bullying in public school and I think it would benefit her to move to a new school with more intimate class sizes. I am hoping to find a good school in our area that she can attend.

I want to make sure that I get the right school for my son. It makes sense that a boarding school could be beneficial. That seems like a great way to ensure that he gets a strong education.

I like that you talked about private schools and how they'd teach our kids about leadership and teamwork. Recently, my wife and I decided it's time to find a school for our son, so we'll start looking at private options too. Thanks for the advice on how to find the best education program for our children.
